Open Mic night is still going strong and will continue on the 2nd Sunday of every month. February will be the turn of Nick Brown, to host this unique evening. Entrance is free. So come along and listen to some of Suffolk's musical talent or join in and show us what you have got.
Saturday the 28th march is Quiz night at the Castle Inn, with a fun quiz to test your knowledge. Teams of 4 - 6. Entry is just £20 per team to include eats. To book your table call 01728 724033.
An auction of goods and collectables to be held in the Armoury function room on Saturday the 4th of April. Items to be auctioned can be brought in from the 28th of March from 11.00 - 1.00 on any day. A copy of our terms and conditions can be made available at any time. There will be a small handing fee for sellers and a buyers premium of 12% (No VAT) will be charged. The auction to start at 11.00 am.
Party by the Pond 5,(Part 2)will also be held in our courtyard. Framlingham's premier music event,has still to finalise the line up. Keep an eye out on this web site and our Party by the Pond Facebook site for more details. Entry as always is free.
Steve will be here in the pub with a gig of acoustic & electric sets from pop to rock via blues. He has played on sessions with Sinitta Donna Summer Cheryl Crow & Eric Clapton so it promises to be a very good night.
VIP Invitation launch of The Castle Inn, make sure you visit us after Christmas to get your invitation. We will be launching our new menu with tasters with a complimenting drink, with our compliments. There will also be a free prize draw with prizes donated by Woodfords and Adnams. Steve Boyce will be providing the music on the night, in the function room, with his excellent mix of rock & blues. All in all it promises to be a great night to kick off a great year.
The first of our beer festivals to be held in our, soon to be created, tap room. We will showcase up to 10 cask conditioned ales and kick things off with a Blind Beer Tasting on the Friday night. To help you with this we will publish a beer list on our FaceBook page, so those of you who think you know your beer come and take the challenge. On Saturday we will have a hog roast in the late afternoon and evening then on Sunday we will be finishing off the beer at a discounted price to make sure we have none left. The prize for the Blind Beer Tasting will and awarded on Sunday evening at 20.00 Good luck.

The festival starts on Friday with just the usual tasting, then on Saturday we have Steve Boyce looking after us, then on Sunday we will just have to finish the beers.
Steve will be back at The Castle Inn at our Beer Festival on the 22nd October with his classic mix of rock and blues. Good to have you back Steve.
